We traveled out to the Kii washing station back in January to pick out this specific lot. This coffee was such a standout on the cupping table with complex and deeply sweet stone fruit notes. It's less classic \"high acid\/tomato-like\" in it's attributes and more balanced and thick. The tasting notes and superb cup quality speak for itself. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"250\"\u003eNamed after the nearby river In Kenya’s Kirinyaga County, Kii Factory is one of three washing stations operated by Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative Society.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"588\"\u003eThis particular lot is fully washed and grown between 1,600 and 1,800 masl in clay-loam soil. Dense, ripe cherries are meticulously sorted before pulping. The cherries are then fermented overnight, washed, graded, and dried on raised beds for 8–14 days.
